Yemen Monitor / Newsroom: Security authorities in Yemen’s temporary capital, Aden, announced Sunday a total ban on motorcycle movement across all city districts and main thoroughfares, effective Monday, alongside the launch of a security campaign to enforce the ban and confiscate non-compliant vehicles. In a statement issued by its media office, Aden Security Directorate said the decision is part of a broader package of security and organizational measures designed to enhance local stability, curb crimes involving motorcycles, improve traffic flow, and ease urban congestion. The directorate outlined that the enforcement campaign will cover all districts of the capital, stressing that the rules will be strictly applied to everyone without exception, and violating motorcycles will be impounded. Security authorities called on residents to comply fully with the instructions and cooperate with security forces to ensure the success of the campaign and the achievement of its objectives.
