Yemeni Army Announces Execution of 1,119 Military Operations, Neutralization of 427 Houthis Within 24 Hours
Yemen Monitor / Newsroom: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of 1,119 military operations targeting positions, movements, and reinforcements of the Houthi group across various fronts as part of Operation “Yemen Dawn,” confirming the neutralization of 427 group elements and the destruction or disabling of 142 military vehicles, armor, and equipment. In a press statement on Saturday, the official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Staff Majid Al-Nuzaili, said the operations were conducted using warplanes, drones, field artillery, and rocket launchers, targeting Houthi commanders, gatherings, military sites, firing positions, and supply lines. Al-Nuzaili explained that the operations, coinciding with government force movements on the ground, inflicted heavy losses on the group’s forces and enabled the armed forces to advance and secure several strategic sites and high grounds on the Al-Jawf Governorate fronts, while military operations and ground pressure continue across remaining fronts. In Taiz Governorate, the military spokesman noted that clashes persist between the armed forces and Popular Resistance on one side and the Houthi group on the other, confirming that strikes backed by air and artillery support targeted the group’s movements and reinforcements. Al-Nuzaili reaffirmed that the armed forces will continue executing their combat missions while taking the necessary precautions to protect civilians, facilities, and civilian objects.
